Due to school being dismissed because of the inclement weather on January 13, we were forced to cancel the PTO meetings scheduled for that day. If you would like to meet with any teacher to discuss your student's 1st semester report card, please contact the school offices at (423)521-0892, and we will schedule a meeting for you.

The Junior class will begin Career Assessments on Monday, January 23. Students will be given a handout explaining how to take the assessment in homeroom on that day. They must have their assessments completed by Friday, January 27. Failure to complete the assessments will result in a “0” on an English test grade. The only exception to the assessment requirement is those who wish to deny assessments due to philosophical or religious beliefs. If you would like to review their results, you may ask them to log into their site and review their results. There is also a fabulous scholarship search engine on the site that you may explore for college scholarship information.
If you need help with the site, please contact Mr. Stone at (423)521-0892 and he will provide you with assistance.

One of the greatest ways parents can assist Hamilton Heights is through the Hawks’ Helpers. Each home basketball game, we need several volunteers to help with concessions and admissions. If you would be willing to assist with the Hawk’s Helpers, please contact Krystal Bankston.

In the event of inclement weather in our area, Hamilton Heights will follow the procedures of the Hamilton County Public Schools system-wide decisions. We will not be listed on any of the local media; however, we will try to issue an announcement through our Parent Alert system and on Facebook. Remember, these decisions are based on the entire HCDE county-wide system, not for one individual school.
